Sara Sawyer

A few short months after relocating to Savannah with her husband & going through the process of buying their first house, Sara launched her career in Real Estate. Once she acquired her license, she spent several years working as a Realtor, Executive Assistant, & Coordinator at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Cora Bett Thomas Realty.
During the latter part of 2020, she discovered her true passion for the paperwork & organizational side of Real Estate.
Knowing there was a lack of Transaction Management in Savannah, she co-founded her first company, Precision Transactions.
After perfecting the systems & navigating owning a business, she branched off & founded her own company, Moon River.
Sara & her husband, Ben, have an overwhelming love for animals. They have a dog, a cat, and several backyard chickens!
Some of their favorite activities include going to the Forsyth Farmers Market on Saturdays, rocking out with local bands, and finding great food to try around town. They also love taking weekend trips to the mountains and during hockey season, you can find them cheering on the Savannah Ghost Pirates at Enmarket Arena.

Bailey is a Savannah native, born & raised.
She grew up in a family that always had a hand in Real Estate, whether it be mortgages or house flipping, it has always been a constant presence in her life. In 2020 Bailey's sister, Mackenzie Medlin began working as a Realtor at Cora Bett Thomas Realty with Sara Sawyer. Shortly after that, Bailey & Sara met through Mackenzie & became fast friends.
In 2022, Bailey graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Psychology but had the drive to do something more. After exploring what role she wanted in Real Estate, she saw what Sara was doing with Moon River Transactions & she decided to pursue the same career. She started interning with the company in June of 2022 & in December of 2022, she passed her real estate exam!
Bailey loves to travel & has a passion for exploring every different kind of cuisine under the sun. She was married in January of 2023 to her husband, Jacob Strickland, & together they have two cats, a turtle, & a standard poodle.
Jacob Strickland

After moving to Savannah at a young age, Jacob has lived here for most of his life. Growing up with his father & extended family in real estate, he was very accustomed to the environment.
It wasn't until his wife Bailey entered the field that Jacob decided to take the plunge with her. When Bailey joined the Moon River team, Jacob was able to view the field of Real Estate from a different lens. He decided to join the team as well, to learn more about the world of Real Estate.
Jacob is pursuing his real estate license with hopes of joining a brokerage in the near future. As he continues his education, he is excited to learn more & continue to grow in the field.
Some of Jacob's favorite activities include hiking, traveling to historical areas, as well as horror movies & books. He'll take any excuse to be in the outdoors especially if there are mountains or cold weather involved. He adores the poodle, cats & turtle that his wife & him own together & is excited to join the rest of the animal lovers at Moon River.

Haley Rowley
Video Content Director
Born and raised in Arizona, Haley brings a warm, grounded energy and a fresh creative perspective to the Moon River Media team. She moved to Savannah a few years ago and now calls the Isle of Hope area home with her husband, Nico.
In addition to leading our Media Department, Haley is also an active Realtor—giving her unique insight into what kind of content truly resonates in the real estate space. Her ability to understand an agent’s vision and translate it into eye-catching, social-ready video makes her an invaluable asset to our clients. With a background in photography and a lifelong passion for creativity, Haley thrives on helping others bring their ideas to life. Whether it’s planning out a content strategy or capturing the perfect moment on camera, she brings heart and artistic flair to everything she touches.
Outside of work, Haley loves being in nature, camping under the stars, and tending to her growing collection of plants. Her blend of artistic skill, industry knowledge, and genuine desire to help others makes her the perfect partner for turning your media goals into reality.
